OUR JOURNEY

1896 : The Foundation of Excellence

In Lahore's bustling Anarkali Bazaar, Shri Sham Lal Ji founded Sham Di Hatti, specializing in food grains, dry fruits, and ground spices, with a commitment to quality that defined the shop.

1947 : Rising from the Ashes

Amidst the partition, Shri Harbans Lal Kapoor, Sham Lal Ji's grandson, relocated to Delhi, starting over with little and selling pani-puri on streets. Through perseverance, he secured a shop in Delhi's Khan Market under the refugee quota, naming it "Sham Di Hatti" in honor of his grandfather. A Peepal Tree planted outside became a symbol of the shop’s resilience, with women employees carefully selecting grains.

1975 : A New Era Unfolds

Under Shri Chand Kapoor, the shop evolved from selling food items to offering dinnerware and kitchen products, reflecting the changing times and needs.

1995-2020 : A Vision Expands

The business expanded, transforming into a showroom and broadening its range of products, marking significant growth phases.
